MEDITATIONS
MEDITATIONS SPECIFICALLY ON COLOR AND FLOW, PUSHING THE LIMITS OF PHOTOSHOP’S WARP TOOL.
Started as exercises while on the clock, these have evolved into fully fledged pieces ripe with color - a new territory to me. By limiting boundaries and tools, I can push the program and myself to new extremes. The principal construction remains the same: make a white circle with a soft edge brush, make five of these, manipulate and overlay until pleased, and add color last. Patterns begin to emerge, notably that I still very much enjoy figurative work and my tones lean warm.
