rituals
Made during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, these are reflections of how I considered the state of the world and my isolated position within it.
These were a beneficial practice in creating work that felt important strictly for me. I had become exhausted, almost nauseated, at the amount of content pouring in on social media, in a time of absolute crisis nonetheless. How could one produce work for an audience in a time like this? Honestly, who cared? Realizing that I simply did not, I made collages that serve more as diary entries with a single goal: try something new, for myself.
